MARTY. Thanks for Considering.

Marty said he's too busy to come to our conference. Understood. But I worked so hard at getting this graphic to look like it was really on the side of this bus, I'm going to leave it up.

Backstory: We had been trying to get Martin Scorsese's answer to our invitation to come to the Biola Media Conference, May 5 and be interviewed on stage. But he was so busy with the attention that HUGO received and the subsequent Academy Awards that the film was nominated for and won, that we were far down the pecking order to even get someone to call us back. We sent several invitations to him at his NY office, to his publicist, his business partner, we've sent flowers to the publicist's assistant. No response. So, the sign on the bus was next-to-the-last effort. We didn't have enough money to actually rent bus-sides and parade them up and down 5th Ave, so we found this image of a bus,  created the ad to match, printed off an 8 x 10 print and  priority mailed it to his office.  Someone thought Donald Trump paid for them. Who knows. Maybe Marty actually saw this and told his publicist he was too busy to deal with such people. LOL! We still like his movies. He's in a class by himself.

I love this!! When I first saw that image, I really thought you'd done the bus advertising... but this was a very clever substitute!

Sorry Marty can't make it, but congrats on the full court press to try to get him there!
